Responsibilities
The Account Officer (AO) will operate primarily in the field, acting as the bridge between BAV and its micro‑enterprise partners. Core duties include:
- Identifying and prospecting potential partners—primarily women from low‑to‑middle‑income backgrounds—who wish to start or expand a small business.
- Organizing and forming productive groups of up to ten women entrepreneurs, fostering teamwork, peer learning, and collective bargaining power.
- Conducting thorough credit assessments and presenting appropriate loan packages to qualified groups.
- Disbursing capital loans and explaining repayment terms clearly.
- Providing ongoing mentorship and business coaching, including financial literacy, marketing strategies, and problem‑solving techniques.
- Maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships with all partners, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Coordinating bi‑weekly repayment collection meetings, ensuring punctuality and addressing any repayment challenges.
- Preparing regular reports on loan performance, group progress, and field activities for internal monitoring.
- Collaborating with the Branch Office (BO) team to align field activities with overall company objectives.
- Participating in community events and local networking to raise BAV’s brand visibility and attract new partners.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 30 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome.
- Strong communicative thinking, marketing aptitude, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and a genuine desire to empower women entrepreneurs.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and common office applications.
- Willingness to travel within the Pagar Alam area and work on a Monday‑Friday schedule (08:00‑17:00).
