Introduction
Accor, a global leader in hospitality, is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Duty Manager – Operational Oversight & Team Coordination to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests experience the high‑standard service that Accor is renowned for, while also supporting seamless daily operations across the property. The position is based on a full‑time schedule, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
As a Duty Manager, you will act as the bridge between frontline staff and senior management, guaranteeing that service delivery, cleanliness, and operational efficiency align with Accor’s brand standards. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service that meets or exceeds Accor’s global standards.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned departments, ensuring smooth workflow and prompt resolution of issues.
- Monitor and maintain high levels of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the property.
- Coordinate effectively with team members, other departments, and external partners to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and operational challenges with professionalism and a solutions‑focused mindset.
- Support and motivate staff through coaching, performance feedback, and on‑the‑job training.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in budgeting, inventory control, and resource planning to optimize cost efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas that enhance service quality and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar duty manager or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; good English (spoken and written) is an advantage.
- Professional appearance, well‑groomed, and guest‑oriented mindset.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with a track record of coaching and developing staff.
- Detail‑oriented, responsible, proactive, and capable of making swift decisions.
