Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Field Collector to join our dynamic team in the Banyumas region. As a frontline representative of our finance and collections department, you will play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with customers, securing payments, and building lasting relationships. This position offers a blend of field work, negotiation, and reporting, ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site collection activities, visiting customers’ premises to discuss outstanding balances and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Collect payments in cash, cheque, or electronic form, ensuring accurate receipt documentation.
- Prepare and submit detailed visitation reports, including payment status, customer feedback, and any escalated issues.
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly collection targets set by management.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of the assigned geographic area, including key routes, traffic patterns, and local business contacts.
- Identify potential risks of default and proactively communicate with the credit control team for further action.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and reinforcing the company’s brand reputation.
- Adhere to all company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards while operating a two‑wheel vehicle on public roads.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in collections; 2 years preferred.
- Valid Indonesian driving licence (SIM C) and ownership of a reliable motorcycle.
- Strong familiarity with the Banyumas area, including neighborhoods, commercial zones, and transportation routes.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation (MS Excel, collection software).
