Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges while maintaining accuracy.

- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all cash handling procedures comply with company policies.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to restock merchandise, manage inventory levels, and support promotional displays.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in opening and closing store duties, including preparing cash float, securing the register, and generating daily sales reports.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, POS upgrades, and customer service best practices.
- Promote loyalty programs and up‑selling opportunities to increase average transaction value.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols to protect both customers and the retail environment.
Requirements
