Introduction
PT BFI (Bank Financial Indonesia) is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our Parepare branch as a Manajemen Aset Remedial. This role is pivotal in managing overdue vehicle financing contracts, ensuring timely recoveries, and supporting the bank’s commitment to responsible lending. Responsibilities
- Execute the full cycle of collection activities for contracts past due 1–90 days, employing firm yet professional communication techniques.
- Prepare and send accurate billing statements, reminders, and legal notices in accordance with BFI’s standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate closely with external collection agencies, third‑party hunters, and legal partners to maximize recovery rates while maintaining compliance.
- Track and verify the location of delinquent borrowers and their financed vehicles, using field visits, telephone outreach, and digital tools.
- Gather supplemental information from neighbors, local businesses, and community contacts to support the collection process.
- Maintain detailed records of all collection actions, negotiations, and outcomes in the bank’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
- Provide regular status reports to branch management, highlighting trends, risk exposures, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of legal filings and coordinate with the legal department when escalations are required.
- Promote “Back to Current” initiatives by offering flexible repayment plans and financial counseling to eligible borrowers.
- Participate in continuous training programs to stay current with regulatory changes, collection best practices, and negotiation techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Open to candidates of any gender; residency in Parepare or nearby areas is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess credit risk and devise effective recovery strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to remain calm and persuasive under pressure.
- Demonstrated discipline, integrity, and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM) and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or loan management systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Willingness to work the standard hours of 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional flexibility for field activities.
