Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the position of Teknisi Jaringan Telekomunikasi to support our expanding network across the Province of Jawa Timur. This role is ideal for fresh graduates from SMK, Diploma, or University programs who are eager to start a career in the telecommunications industry, even without prior experience. The successful candidate will join a structured Professional Telecom Technician Development Program, receive intensive on‑the‑job training, and quickly become an integral part of field operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the installation, configuration, and testing of network equipment such as routers, switches, and optical fiber modules.
- Perform routine site surveys and collect data on signal strength, coverage gaps, and infrastructure requirements.
- Support the maintenance of existing network infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, repairing faulty cables, and replacing hardware components.
- Climb and work on telecommunication towers safely, following all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment.
- Document all field activities accurately in the company’s service management system, including work orders, test results, and inventory usage.
- Participate actively in the three‑month intensive training program held at designated locations (Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, Sintang, Samarinda, Medan, etc.), mastering both theoretical concepts and practical skills.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as network planning, project management, and customer service—to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, especially when handling high‑voltage equipment or working at heights.
- Provide on‑site support during network upgrades, emergency repairs, and performance optimization tasks.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge by attending workshops, certifications, and internal knowledge‑sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma/University degree in Teknik Jaringan, Telekomunikasi, Elektro, Listrik, or Mesin is preferred.
- Gender: Male (as per project field‑work requirements).
- No upper age limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- Possession of a valid SIM C driver’s license and personal motor vehicle for field travel.
- Own a functional laptop and an Android smartphone (required for field applications and reporting).
- Clean criminal record (SKCK) and a recent health certificate from a licensed doctor.
- Physically fit, able to work outdoors, and comfortable climbing towers when needed.
- Willingness to be deployed to any city within the province according to company needs.
- Strong analytical mindset, basic understanding of networking concepts, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
