Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to the hotel’s five‑star standards.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all amenities, linens, and equipment are in perfect condition.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing inventory to the supervisor promptly.
- Manage and replenish housekeeping supplies, linens, and guest amenities on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with front‑desk and concierge teams to accommodate special guest requests (e.g., extra pillows, baby cribs, or turn‑down service).
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Maintain accurate logs of room status, cleaning times, and inventory usage.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new cleaning techniques and sustainability practices.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, responding promptly to inquiries or concerns.
- Support team members during peak periods, ensuring seamless service delivery across the property.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is desirable.
- Positive attitude, service‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
