Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Petugas Penagihan Lapangan (Field Collection Officer) to join our dynamic team in Indramayu. This role is integral to our finance and customer service operations, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments while maintaining strong, professional relationships with our valued clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site collection activities by visiting customers within the designated Indramayu area.
- Negotiate payment terms and arrange settlement of overdue invoices, always aiming to meet or exceed collection targets.
- Collect cash, checks, or electronic payment confirmations and ensure accurate documentation of each transaction.
- Prepare detailed visitation reports, including client feedback, payment status, and any issues requiring escalation.
- Update the internal CRM system in real time to reflect payment receipts and follow‑up actions.
- Identify patterns of delinquency and suggest process improvements to the supervisory team.
- Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile daily collections and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing the company in the community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in collection; 2 years preferred.
- Male candidates only (as per current operational requirements).
- Valid motorcycle (Roda Dua) and a current SIM C license.
- Strong familiarity with the Indramayu geographic area and local traffic routes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.
- Active listening, problem‑solving mindset, and a high level of personal integrity.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet daily and weekly targets.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Excel, Word) and experience with collection software is a plus.
