Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Pengumpulan Lapangan to join our collections team in the Karanganyar and Demak areas. This frontline role is essential for maintaining healthy cash flow and strengthening relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting borrowers, delivering warning letters, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring accurate customer data is recorded in our collection system. Responsibilities
- Visit delinquent borrowers in person and deliver Surat Peringatan (SP) when arrears exceed 20 days.
- Conduct on‑site validation of the borrower’s financial condition, analyze the root causes of non‑payment, and assess repayment capacity.
- Negotiate tailored payment options that align with both the borrower’s situation and the company’s risk management policies.
- Monitor agreed‑upon repayment schedules, follow up on promises, and initiate further collection actions if necessary.
- Locate customers who are unreachable at their registered address, using phone, email, and field verification techniques.
- Verify and update all customer contact information, ensuring phone numbers, mailing addresses, and employment details are current.
- Document every interaction in the collection management system, creating clear and concise activity logs.
- Prepare regular reports for supervisors, summarizing visit outcomes, payment commitments, and any challenges encountered.
- Collaborate with internal collection teams, legal units, and customer service to coordinate a seamless debt recovery process.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards while handling sensitive financial information.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only; age not exceeding 50 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in field collection or a related financial role (fresh graduates with strong motivation are welcome).
- Residency in the Karanganyar or Demak region.
- Own a motorized vehicle and hold a valid SIM C.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.
- High persistence, target‑oriented mindset, and a proven track record of meeting collection goals.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal abilities and the capacity to coordinate with multiple internal departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collection software applications.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime for urgent cases.
