Introduction
Baskit is seeking dynamic and results‑driven Sales Executives for the General Trade (GT) Beauty & Personal Care segment across six major Indonesian cities: Samarinda, Denpasar, Malang, Bandung, Padang, and Pontianak. In this field‑oriented role, you will be the frontline ambassador of our growing portfolio of beauty and personal care brands, responsible for expanding our presence in traditional retail outlets such as warung, cosmetics stores, and mini‑markets.
As a Sales Executive, you will work closely with local distributors and store owners, turning market opportunities into tangible sales growth. The position offers a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑18:00) with frequent travel within your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard new General Trade outlets—including warung, cosmetics shops, and mini‑markets—within the designated region.
- Present and promote Baskit’s beauty and personal care product lines, tailoring the pitch to local consumer preferences and retail dynamics.
- Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process: registration, catalog activation, price negotiation, and first order fulfillment.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with store owners, distributor sales representatives, and other retail partners to secure repeat business.
- Track daily sales activities, monitor key performance indicators, and deliver regular progress reports to regional management.
- Collect field insights on consumer trends, competitor activity, and product performance to inform brand and product strategy.
- Utilize digital tools such as CRM systems, mobile apps, and WhatsApp for order processing, data entry, and communication.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and brand representation while traveling extensively across your territory.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in field sales, GT onboarding, or beauty product distribution.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesia’s General Trade retail landscape and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and resilient in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with digital sales tools (CRM, mobile applications, messaging platforms).
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned city/region.
