Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer (Marketing) to join our growing team in Kota Pinang. This role focuses on expanding our market presence by promoting the company’s product portfolio to both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales mindset, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a keen understanding of credit application processes within the distribution channel.

The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, and requires the candidate to be based in a location that aligns with the company’s regional deployment strategy. Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and sell the company’s product range to existing customers and prospect new accounts across the assigned territory.
  • Generate sales orders through various distribution channels, ensuring accurate data entry and initial customer profiling.
  • Collect, verify, and complete all required customer documentation, including credit applications and supporting financial statements.
  • Monitor the progress of credit applications, maintain regular communication with dealers and customers, and convey approval or rejection decisions promptly.
  • Inform customers of payment schedules, due dates, and collection locations, while addressing any queries related to invoicing or payment terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, and internal sales support teams.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecast future sales trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align promotional activities with market demand.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling to maximize revenue per customer.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors accepted).
  • Maximum age: 30 years.
  • Gender: Male (as specified).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales or marketing role; recent graduates with strong internship experience are also welcomed.
  • Proven ability to manage B2C sales processes, from prospecting to closing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong negotiation capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, persistence, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Own reliable transportation and a valid, active SIM A/C driving license.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet weekly/monthly sales targets.
  • Familiarity with credit verification and documentation procedures is a distinct advantage.
