Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate menu items according to Choky Spaghetti’s recipes and customer specifications, maintaining consistency in flavor and appearance.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw ingredients, spices, and consumables; conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper storage temperatures, sanitation of workstations, and regular deep‑cleaning cycles.
  • Supervise junior kitchen crew members, providing on‑the‑job coaching, performance feedback, and support during peak service periods.
  • Collaborate with the outlet manager and front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order flow, reduce wait times, and handle special dietary requests.
  • Participate actively in quarterly training sessions on new menu launches, equipment handling, and quality control procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, waste records, and daily closing reports to aid in operational analysis.
  • Assist in developing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cooking, plating, and cleaning to improve efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to any customer feedback related to food quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Be flexible to work 8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts and to be assigned across any Choky Spaghetti outlet in Yogyakarta as business needs dictate.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders.
  • No prior experience required, though experience in a fast‑paced kitchen is an advantage.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Excellent hygiene practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, quality control, and seasoning balance.
  • Willingness to undergo regular training and skill‑development programs.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, for shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours.
  • Readiness to relocate within Yogyakarta and be placed at any Choky Spaghetti branch.
  • Required application documents: updated CV, cover letter, photocopy of KTP, family card (KK), and an active police clearance (SKCK).
