Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Staff Accountant – Penanggung Jawab Pembukuan to join our finance team in Turen. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post daily journal entries ensuring compliance with Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK).
- Maintain the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including accruals, depreciation, and provision calculations.
- Compile accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit‑and‑loss reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the procurement and sales departments to verify invoices, receipts, and payment schedules.
- Operate MS Office (Excel, Word) and specialized accounting software to generate reports, perform data analysis, and automate routine tasks.
- Support audit activities by providing required documentation and explanations to internal and external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling in line with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, suggesting more efficient bookkeeping methods or control enhancements.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge‑sharing workshops to stay updated on regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or a related field.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: Maximum 35 years old.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Experienced with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Zahir, or equivalent).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Critical thinking and data analysis abilities to interpret financial information accurately.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work under strict targets and deadlines.
- Honesty, trustworthiness, and a courteous professional demeanor.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive training period and commit to a full‑time schedule (Monday – Saturday, 07:00 – 16:00).
