Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis to join our dynamic finance team in the Malang Raya region. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP and company policies.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, highlighting key trends and recommending corrective actions to senior leadership.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate, supported by proper documentation, and posted in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including PPh and PPN, and ensure compliance with all local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and operations—to gather financial data and support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Develop and automate Excel models and dashboards that provide real‑time insights into cash flow, profitability, and cost structures.
- Support internal and external audits by supplying required schedules, reconciliations, and explanations of accounting treatments.
- Continuously improve accounting processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best‑practice solutions.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, sharing knowledge on financial reporting standards, software usage, and professional ethics.
- Ensure all financial documentation is securely archived and readily retrievable for audit and regulatory purposes.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) for entry; preferably a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as an accounting staff member; experience in financial reporting and analysis is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and familiar with common accounting software (e.g., SAP, Zahir, or MYOB).
- Knowledge Base: Solid understanding of Indonesian tax laws, basic payroll processing, and the preparation of financial statements.
- Personal Attributes: Detail‑oriented, honest, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Location: Must be domiciled in the Malang Raya area to facilitate on‑site collaboration.
