Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, notify supervisors of low stock, and assist with basic stock rotation.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers, ensuring proper functionality.
- Collaborate closely with fellow kitchen staff and front‑of‑house teams to ensure timely service during peak periods.
- Assist in the development of new menu concepts, offering suggestions based on ingredient availability and culinary trends.
- Participate in daily prep sessions, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Respond quickly and effectively to special dietary requests or modifications while maintaining food safety standards.
- Document any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards and report them to the kitchen manager.
- Continuously improve product knowledge by attending training sessions and staying current on industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Open to candidates of all ages, with no upper limit.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Experience: Prior experience in the F&B sector is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work full‑time, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and a solid understanding of basic food preparation techniques.
- Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to perform well under pressure, especially during busy service periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning product knowledge.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
