Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Supervisor of Warehouse Management to lead our logistics operations and ensure seamless flow of goods from receipt to delivery. This pivotal role reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates closely with procurement, transportation, and sales teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in warehouse systems, inventory control, and supply chain coordination, while demonstrating excellent communication and leadership abilities. Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to guarantee accurate data capture and real‑time visibility of stock levels.
- Oversee daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and reconciliation of physical stock with system records.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure that inbound and outbound logistics are executed on schedule, supporting on‑time delivery commitments.
- Prepare and supervise transportation plans, including route optimization, carrier selection, and load planning, to reduce costs and improve delivery reliability.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and training on safety protocols and best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, enforce compliance with occupational health regulations, and promote a culture of zero‑incident operations.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and dock-to‑stock time, presenting actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers, negotiate service level agreements, and monitor their performance against contractual obligations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects, to drive process efficiencies and cost reductions.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, or similar logistics roles.
- Proven expertise in operating and configuring Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP WM, Oracle WMS, Manhattan).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey instructions clearly to diverse teams.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team motivation, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and best practices in warehouse safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
