We are currently expanding our finance team for a key client in the Balikpapan region and are seeking a motivated Regional Finance Staff to join the on‑site accounting hub. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices in strict accordance with established work procedures and key performance indicators, ensuring timely billing for all project deliverables.
  • Confirm receipt of payments from clients, reconcile discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Enter daily cash and bank transactions into the ERP system with precision, guaranteeing that all financial records are up‑to‑date.
  • Review project budgets, monitor variances, and provide regular reports to senior finance managers to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Validate vendor invoices, coordinate with the procurement department, and submit approved invoices to the head office for payment processing.
  • Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as operations, procurement, and HR—to gather necessary data for accurate financial reporting.
  • Support internal audits by providing documentation, explanations, and corrective actions when required.
  • Continuously improve financial processes by recommending best practices and automation opportunities within the ERP system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field (minimum S1).
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within an outsourcing or project‑based environment.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) for transaction processing and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
  • Detail‑oriented, persistent, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret financial data and present insights clearly.
  • Willingness to be based in Balikpapan and commute to the client’s site on a regular basis.
