Responsibilities
- Accurately operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Handle product returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, promotions, and store layout to guide purchasing decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies (receipt paper, bags, etc.) are stocked.
- Perform opening and closing cash register procedures, including cash reconciliation and deposit preparation.
- Assist with inventory control by conducting periodic stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to resolve customer inquiries and address any service issues promptly.
- Uphold store security standards by monitoring for suspicious activity and adhering to loss‑prevention protocols.
- Contribute to visual merchandising efforts by arranging promotional displays near the checkout.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, sales techniques, and POS upgrades.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old, open to all genders.
- Polished appearance with a customer‑friendly demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Proven ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Honesty, integrity, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
- Basic proficiency with cash handling and familiarity with POS software.
- Flexibility to work a six‑day schedule (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new retail technologies and processes.
