Introduction

Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef and kitchen staff in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency across all menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to food safety regulations (HACCP, local health codes).
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support the kitchen during peak service hours by expediting orders, ensuring timely delivery to the dining floor.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings, offering feedback and suggestions for menu improvements.
- Collaborate with both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams to resolve any service issues promptly.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen assistants, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
- Contribute to the development of new dishes by experimenting with flavors, textures, and presentation techniques under the chef’s guidance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Basic cooking skills and a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
