Introduction
The Staf Pengelolaan dan Operasi Gudang position is a critical role within our logistics and supply‑chain division, responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with industry best practices. Based in Palembang, the successful candidate will oversee inventory control, apply advanced stock rotation methods such as FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO, and generate accurate weekly and monthly performance reports. This role demands a high level of precision, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational demands.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the warehouse management system (WMS), ensuring data integrity and real‑time visibility of stock levels.
- Implement and monitor FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO methodologies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce obsolescence.
- Conduct regular stock takes of spare parts and finished goods across all branch locations, reconciling discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly inventory reports, highlighting key metrics such as stock accuracy, turnover rates, and shrinkage.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to align inbound and outbound flows with demand forecasts.
- Design and continuously improve warehouse layout plans to maximize space utilization and streamline material handling.
- Train and mentor junior warehouse staff on proper handling, documentation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards, conducting periodic audits and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Age: 25‑35 years old, with a maximum age limit of 35.
- Gender: Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational policy.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiar with warehouse management software; knowledgeable in FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO methods.
- Soft Skills: Detail‑oriented, organized, strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Location: Must be a resident of Palembang or willing to relocate there.
