We are seeking a motivated Tenaga Teknik Kefarmasian (TTK) – Ahli Laboratorium to join our dynamic pharmacy team. This pivotal role supports the pharmacist in delivering safe, effective, and patient‑centered pharmaceutical services. As a laboratory specialist, you will contribute to medication dispensing, inventory control, drug information dissemination, and quality assurance activities within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 17:00, providing ample opportunity to develop your expertise while making a meaningful impact on public health.
Responsibilities
- Assist the licensed pharmacist in preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescription and over‑the‑counter medications.
- Perform routine laboratory tests on pharmaceutical products to ensure potency, purity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of drug inventories, including receipt, storage conditions, and expiry monitoring.
- Provide clear, concise drug information to patients and caregivers, covering dosage, administration, potential side effects, and storage instructions.
- Support medication therapy management initiatives by reviewing patient medication profiles and flagging potential interactions.
- Participate in the procurement process, verifying the authenticity and quality of incoming drug shipments.
- Assist in the preparation of compounding formulations under sterile conditions, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Conduct regular audits of pharmacy workflows to identify areas for efficiency improvements and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and nutritionists, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical guidelines, drug formularies, and emerging therapies through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
