Introduction
Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Account Officer (Collection) to join our team in Flamboyan, Riau. This role is essential for maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring the timely collection of overdue receivables (A/R). The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients, applying strong negotiation and communication skills to achieve collection targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue accounts, ensuring all activities are completed within the stipulated timelines.
- Monitor aging reports and identify high‑risk accounts, developing tailored action plans for each case.
- Initiate contact with borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment schedules and resolve disputes.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting and legal teams to assess credit risk and recommend appropriate collection strategies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics such as recovery rate, days past due, and outstanding balances.
- Participate in regular training sessions on regulatory compliance, data privacy, and effective negotiation techniques.
- Provide feedback to product development on common repayment challenges to help refine loan terms and improve customer experience.
- Adhere to all internal policies and external regulations governing the multifinance sector.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate degree) or S1 (bachelor’s degree) in any discipline.
- Open to fresh graduates; however, at least 1 year of experience in collections or a related finance role is considered a strong advantage.
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a strong focus on achieving targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, meticulousness, and honesty.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with collection management software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexible to work on a Monday‑Saturday schedule, from 08:00 to 16:00.
