Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee‑making equipment, ensuring daily cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, providing product recommendations, and answering questions about coffee origins and brewing methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including regular sanitization of workstations, equipment, and the front‑of‑house area.
- Collaborate with team members to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables; report shortages and assist with restocking as needed.
- Handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems with accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions on coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service excellence.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations at all times.
- Contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal promotions, and community events to enhance the café’s brand.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years (maximum 25 years preferred).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK or equivalent).
- No prior experience required; however, a genuine interest in coffee and willingness to learn are essential.
- Polished appearance and a professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal communication skills; friendly and approachable personality.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the capacity to support colleagues during busy periods.
- Basic knowledge of coffee equipment operation or eagerness to be trained on espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
- Skills: Coffee preparation, latte art, food presentation, public speaking, and basic food service techniques.
