Responsibilities

  • Conduct on‑site economic counseling for existing members, helping households improve financial literacy, budgeting, and business planning.
  • Perform thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, adhering to Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end collection process, including reminder calls, visitations, and negotiating repayment plans while maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports on prospect visits, loan assessments, and collection outcomes using Amartha’s mobile tools and CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional operations team to share market insights, flag emerging risks, and suggest improvements to product offerings.
  • Represent Amartha at community events, local business forums, and partnership meetings to strengthen brand awareness and trust.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma).
  • Age: 18–30 years (candidates up to 33 years are also considered).
  • Both genders are welcome; female candidates are preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for daily field travel.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work habits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse households.
  • Resilience and ability to work independently in a field environment, often under challenging weather or logistical conditions.
  • No prior experience is required, though any background in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance will be considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency with basic digital tools (smartphone, mobile apps, and simple data entry).
