Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Waiter (Restoran – Layanan Pelanggan) to join our dynamic front‑of‑house team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast‑paced dining environment, delivers exceptional service, and embraces continuous learning. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings to answer questions and make recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, refill drinks, address any concerns, and guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or electronic transactions securely.
- Prepare and set up dining areas before service, including arranging tableware, polishing glassware, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in inventory checks of table linens, cutlery, and condiments, reporting shortages to management.
- Participate in regular training sessions, staff meetings, and performance reviews to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree).
- Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s staffing policy).
- Age: Up to 30 years old.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar waiter or front‑of‑house role, with at least 6 months in a high‑volume restaurant setting.
- Positive attitude, humility, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – approachable, sociable, and capable of building rapport with diverse customers.
- Team‑player mindset; able to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including proper plating, serving order, and wine service basics.
