We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Business Partner – Staff Lapangan to join our team. The role is based in Indramayu and involves direct engagement with potential borrowers, household economic counseling, and field‑level loan administration. Responsibilities
- Prospect New Borrowers: Identify and approach potential micro‑entrepreneurs and households in the Indramayu area, presenting Amartha’s loan programs and encouraging enrollment.
- Household Economic Coaching: Provide on‑site financial literacy and budgeting guidance to existing members, helping them improve cash flow, savings habits, and business sustainability.
- Loan Feasibility Surveys: Conduct thorough field surveys, collect required documentation, and perform preliminary credit analysis in line with Amartha’s underwriting policies.
- Eligibility Assessment: Evaluate each application against internal risk criteria, verify income sources, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Collection & Follow‑up: Manage the repayment process by issuing reminders, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly field reports, summarizing new leads, approved loans, repayment status, and any operational challenges encountered.
- Community Relationship Building: Act as Amartha’s representative, fostering trust with local leaders, cooperatives, and community groups to enhance program visibility.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions and share best practices with the regional team to improve overall service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years for special considerations).
- Gender: Open to all genders; female candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
- Own a reliable motorbike or vehicle for daily field visits.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Resilience and physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic digital literacy – comfortable using smartphones, data entry apps, and simple analytical tools.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community outreach, or related fields is a plus but not required.
