To expand our market presence in retail outlets, small‑scale enterprises (UMKM), and boutique stores, we are looking for an energetic Canvassing Penjualan professional. This field‑based sales role is perfect for a self‑motivated individual who enjoys building relationships, showcasing fragrance collections, and turning first‑time buyers into loyal repeat customers. The successful candidate will work Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑17:30, and will be equipped with a competitive salary, performance incentives, and full statutory benefits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily canvassing visits to retail stores, UMKM partners, and prospective clients to introduce the company’s fragrance portfolio.
- Present product features, benefits, and scent profiles, offering sample vials and personalized recommendations that match the client’s target market.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with shop owners and purchasing managers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat orders.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and promotional arrangements, then close sales in a professional and timely manner.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, tracking performance against goals and submitting detailed reports to the sales manager.
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date product knowledge base, including new launches, seasonal collections, and regulatory compliance for fragrance labeling.
- Prepare and deliver in‑store merchandising displays, ensuring brand consistency and optimal product placement.
- Collect feedback from customers regarding scent performance, packaging, and pricing, and relay insights to the product development team.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, vehicle usage, and documentation of sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA), Vocational High School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑37 years old; all genders are welcome to apply.
- At least one (1) year of proven sales experience, preferably in the perfume, cosmetics, or related consumer goods sector.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle (motor) and a Class C driver’s license (SIM C) for field travel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey scent characteristics to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong organizational abilities, including accurate sales reporting and inventory tracking.
- Self‑discipline to work independently in the field while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with basic sales administration tools, mobile applications for order entry, and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Positive attitude, resilience under pressure, and a genuine passion for the fragrance industry.
