Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess age‑appropriate Sempoa (abacus) and English language lessons for children aged 3‑12, aligning with the institute’s curriculum standards.
- Create engaging, hands‑on activities that develop mathematical reasoning, fine motor skills, and oral communication in a supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress through regular observations, formative assessments, and detailed report cards, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents, conducting parent‑teacher meetings, sharing learning milestones, and offering guidance on home support strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and curriculum developers to refine lesson plans, integrate new teaching technologies, and ensure consistent instructional quality.
- Assist the marketing team by contributing content, photos, and success stories for Sempoa SIP Group’s social media platforms, reinforcing brand visibility and community engagement.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and internal training sessions to stay current with pedagogical best practices.
- Uphold health, safety, and child‑protection policies, creating a secure and nurturing learning environment at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Early Childhood Development, Mathematics, English, or a related field. Candidates with an SMA/K background may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional teaching aptitude.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on teaching experience with primary‑age children, preferably in abacus or language instruction.
- Gender: Female candidates only, in accordance with the specific needs of our program.
- Core Skills: Applied mathematics, early childhood pedagogy, communication development, and proficiency in using teaching aids such as the abacus.
- Soft Skills: Patience, creativity, strong interpersonal abilities, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for brand support, and competence in using digital attendance and grading tools.
- Language: Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and functional English to deliver bilingual instruction.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional weekend events or parent workshops.
