Introduction
The Controller AR (Accounts Receivable) – Microfinancing position is a pivotal role within our dynamic financial services team. Based in strategic locations across Pekanbaru, Ujung Batu, and Pangkalan Kerinci (Pelalawan), the successful candidate will play a critical part in managing and recovering consumer credit contracts for our micro‑finance portfolio. This role bridges the gap between finance, legal, and customer service functions, ensuring that delinquent accounts are resolved efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with borrowers.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic recommendations for the resolution of overdue consumer contracts, including installment payments, full settlements, credit restructuring, private auctions, KPKNL (court‑ordered) auctions, and legal filing for litigation.
- Conduct thorough creditworthiness analyses to assess borrowers’ repayment capacity, using financial statements, cash‑flow projections, and collateral evaluations.
- Ensure all consumer administration records are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the legal department to prepare and file court cases, and to coordinate auction processes when necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with borrowers, offering clear explanations of repayment options and negotiating mutually beneficial solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delinquency rates, recovery ratios, and turnaround time for contract resolutions.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risk exposures, and actionable insights for portfolio improvement.
- Support cross‑functional initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall credit collection process, including the implementation of new software tools and workflow automation.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive borrower information.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Law (legal background is a strong advantage).
- No upper age limit; candidates of all ages are encouraged to apply.

- Zero to two years of experience in credit collection, accounts receivable, or related financial roles; fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting or loan management systems.
