Responsibilities

  • Process cash, credit, and electronic transactions swiftly and accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt assistance to customers, answering product inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
  • Verify the authenticity of bills and coins, and conduct regular cash drawer reconciliations at the start and end of each shift.
  • Follow all store SOPs, including health and safety protocols, loss‑prevention measures, and data‑security guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teammates in other departments (e.g., sales floor, inventory) to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Assist with basic inventory tasks such as receiving shipments, labeling, and restocking shelves when needed.
  • Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Report any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or suspicious activities to the store manager promptly.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, POS upgrades, and customer‑service best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: Open to candidates of all ages, with a preference for individuals who can work full‑time.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome.
  • Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kediri.
  • Experience: Prior retail or cashier experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Key skills: Proficiency with cash‑handling systems, basic math, and the ability to learn the store’s POS software quickly.
  • Personal attributes: Disciplined, honest, responsible, adaptable to SOPs, capable of working under pressure, and drama‑free.
  • Professional appearance: Presentable and well‑groomed to reflect the store’s brand standards.
