Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and each student’s individual learning style.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and informal observations, providing detailed feedback to parents and school staff.
- Utilize a variety of instructional tools—including digital platforms, manipulatives, and visual aids—to make complex concepts accessible for young learners.
- Maintain a safe, encouraging, and disciplined classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with primary school teachers to synchronize tutoring content with classroom instruction, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Prepare supplemental materials such as worksheets, practice tests, and enrichment activities that extend beyond the standard syllabus.
- Track attendance, lesson completion, and performance metrics in the school’s learning management system.
- Participate in regular professional development workshops, sharing best practices and staying current with educational trends.
- Adapt teaching strategies under pressure, especially during exam periods or when addressing learning gaps.
- Promote good study habits, time‑management skills, and self‑confidence among students.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 30 years old (both male and female applicants are welcome).
- Educational background: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or any Science Education discipline (teacher‑training or pure science).
- Academic performance: Preferred GPA (IPK) of 3.00 or higher.
- Honesty, discipline, firmness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage stress in fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English.
- Passion for child development and a commitment to continuous improvement in teaching methods.
- Technical competence in using educational software, virtual classrooms, and online assessment tools.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional weekend sessions for exam preparation.
- Legal eligibility to work in Indonesia and a clean background check.
