Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visits to assigned customers in Pemalang and surrounding areas, following Home Credit’s SOP for field collections.
- Communicate overdue payment information clearly and professionally, ensuring borrowers understand their obligations.
- Assist customers with the payment process, guiding them through Home Credit’s payment channels and resolving any issues that arise.
- Negotiate payment plans when necessary, applying empathetic negotiation techniques to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of each customer interaction, including payment status, promises to pay, and any disputes.
- Report daily activity summaries to the regional supervisor, highlighting successes, challenges, and any escalations required.
- Collaborate with the credit risk and customer service teams to share insights from field observations that can improve risk assessment and product offerings.
- Ensure personal safety and compliance with all traffic and road regulations while traveling on a company‑provided motorcycle.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on Home Credit policies, collection best practices, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma is the minimum.
- Age: No maximum age limit; candidates must be legally eligible to work.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Pemalang area and its surrounding neighborhoods.
- Transportation: Own a functional motorcycle and a valid, active SIM C license.
- Experience (preferred): Prior experience as a Field Collector or in debt recovery, with supporting documents such as work reference letters, employment certificates, or performance reports.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in using mobile communication devices, basic arithmetic for payment processing, and effective negotiation techniques.
