Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport goods using a company‑provided motorcycle, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Plan optimal delivery routes based on traffic conditions, delivery windows, and geographic constraints to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct pre‑delivery inspections of each package, verifying labels, addresses, and special handling instructions.
- Perform post‑delivery checks, confirming receipt signatures, documenting any discrepancies, and reporting back to the dispatch team.
- Assist with loading and unloading items from the motorcycle, using proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and product damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, enter data into handheld devices or company software, and submit daily activity reports to the operations manager.
- Provide courteous, clear communication with customers, addressing inquiries, obtaining signatures, and handling minor complaints with professionalism.
- Monitor vehicle condition, perform routine checks (fuel level, tire pressure, oil), and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely pickup of parcels and proper documentation of outbound shipments.
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality, especially when handling sensitive documents or valuable items.
Requirements
- Minimum education: any level (SMA/SMK or equivalent); a high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
- Open to all genders; no age limit imposed, though candidates must possess the physical stamina required for frequent loading and unloading.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license for motorcycles (SIM C) with a clean driving record.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, ensuring positive interactions with customers and internal teams.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian; ability to read and write delivery documents accurately.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools or smartphone mapping applications.
- Physical fitness to handle parcels weighing up to 20 kg and perform repetitive lifting tasks.
- Reliability, honesty, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of shipments.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new logistics technologies, such as barcode scanners and delivery management software.
