Introduction

KOBAin 1992 Coffee & Roastery is a vibrant specialty coffee brand expanding its footprint across Indonesia. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Penanggung Jawab Outlet Cabang (Outlet Person in Charge) for our Solo branch. This role is the cornerstone of daily operations, ensuring that every cup of coffee, every customer interaction, and every behind‑the‑scenes process aligns with our brand standards for quality, efficiency, and hospitality.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with at least one year of hands‑on experience in the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) sector, particularly in coffee shop environments. You will manage a small but motivated team, maintain strict quality controls, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee opening and closing procedures, schedule staff shifts, and ensure the outlet runs smoothly from 09:00 to 18:00, Tuesday through Sunday.
  • Quality Control & Service: Monitor coffee preparation, food handling, and service standards; conduct regular taste tests and cleanliness audits to uphold brand consistency.
  • Stock & Inventory Management: Track raw material usage, place orders for beans, milk, pastries, and packaging, and perform weekly inventory reconciliations.
  • Team Supervision & Development: Coach baristas, kitchen staff, and service crew on brewing techniques, customer service etiquette, and safety protocols; conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Administration & Reporting: Compile daily sales reports, expense logs, and incident reports; submit them to regional management and suggest actionable insights.
  • Customer Experience: Resolve complaints swiftly, gather feedback, and implement enhancements to increase loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Compliance & Safety: Enforce food safety regulations, maintain hygiene certifications, and ensure the outlet meets all local health and safety requirements.
  • Shift Flexibility: Work weekends and national holidays as needed, adapting to peak periods and promotional events.

Requirements

  • Male, aged 18‑25 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK; diploma (D3) or bachelor’s degree (S1) in Hospitality, F&B, or Business Management is preferred.
  • At least 1‑2 years of experience in the F&B industry, preferably as a supervisor, PIC, or senior barista.
  • Solid understanding of coffee shop operations, including barista techniques, kitchen workflow, and front‑of‑house service.
  • Proficient in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee‑making equipment.
  • Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a customer‑centric attitude.
  • Disciplined, honest, responsible, and capable of both independent and team‑based work.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, outlet cleanliness, and F&B service protocols.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
