Introduction
The Problem Account Officer will join ADIRA’s Sintang branch, a leading micro‑finance institution dedicated to providing responsible credit solutions to underserved communities across Indonesia. In this role, you will act as a trusted liaison between the organization and its borrowers, ensuring timely repayments while offering compassionate support through rehabilitation programs. This position demands a proactive, results‑driven professional with strong communication ethics and a solid understanding of credit management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily outreach to customers who are behind on their loan repayments, using phone calls, SMS, and face‑to‑face visits.
- Negotiate payment plans and document agreements, ensuring they align with ADIRA’s policies and regulatory requirements.
- Explain and promote the “rehab” program, which includes rescheduling, restructuring, and adjusting the composition of existing financing to fit the borrower’s cash‑flow realities.
- Prepare and submit detailed collection reports, aging analyses, and risk assessments for senior management review.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the company’s CRM system, safeguarding data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to identify early warning signals and recommend preventive measures.
- Provide feedback to product development on common borrower challenges to help refine loan terms and rehabilitation options.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, anti‑money‑laundering (AML) guidelines, and relevant Indonesian financial regulations.
- Represent ADIRA professionally in the community, building trust and reinforcing the brand’s reputation for ethical lending.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, up to 29 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience in credit collection, loan servicing, or related financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ethically and empathetically with borrowers.
- Strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with basic CRM tools.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional field visits.
