Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Representative Sales District (Balikpapan) to join our growing retail network. This role is based in the vibrant city of Balikpapan and focuses on expanding our market presence, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth across a designated territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will act as the face of the company, delivering product expertise and exceptional service to both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking events, and digital outreach to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long‑term relationships with retailers, corporate accounts, and individual buyers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Conduct compelling in‑person and virtual product demonstrations, tailor presentations to client needs, and clearly articulate value propositions.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead price negotiations, address objections, and close contracts while safeguarding profit margins and adhering to company policies.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor local market trends, track competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to adjust sales strategies and promotional tactics.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales pipelines, submit weekly and monthly performance reports, and contribute to quarterly forecasting sessions.
- Territory Management: Oversee inventory levels, merchandising standards, and visual displays at retail locations within the district to maximize product visibility.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, logistics, and product development teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge, industry developments, and sales techniques through regular training and self‑study.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s degree) in any discipline; a background in business, marketing, or communications is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven sales or territory management experience, preferably within the consumer electronics or retail sector (experience with Erajaya Retail is highly valued).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation abilities, and persuasive negotiation techniques.
- Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn technical specifications and convey complex product information in an understandable manner.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated aptitude for building trust, handling customer inquiries, and delivering superior service.
- Organizational Abilities: Proven time‑management skills to efficiently cover a large geographic area, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Personal Attributes: Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, resilient under pressure, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data analysis tools.
- Work Schedule: Availability to work Tuesday through Sunday, 09:00 – 18:00.
