To strengthen our collections team in Trenggalek, Jawa Timur, we are seeking a diligent Problem Account Officer who will manage overdue accounts and ensure timely recovery of receivables. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collection process for accounts receivable (A/R) overdue between 61‑120 days, ensuring all actions are completed within established timelines.
- Conduct proactive outreach to delinquent customers via phone, email, and face‑to‑face visits, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Analyze credit histories and payment patterns to develop tailored repayment plans that align with company policies and customer capabilities.
- Negotiate settlement agreements, payment extensions, and restructuring options while protecting the company’s financial interests.
- Coordinate closely with the credit, legal, and sales departments to share relevant information and resolve disputes efficiently.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection performance, aging analysis, and recovery rates for senior management review.
- Identify high‑risk accounts early and recommend preventive actions to reduce future delinquencies.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the company’s ERP system, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and advanced negotiation techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/S1 in any discipline; high school (SMA/SMK) graduates are also considered if they demonstrate relevant aptitude.
- Male candidates only.
- Age: No strict upper limit, but preferably under 30 years to align with the dynamic nature of the role.
- At least 1 year of experience in credit monitoring, debt collection, or a related financial services function (experience is a strong plus).
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
- High integrity, resilience, meticulousness, and honesty in handling sensitive financial information.
- Proficiency in using credit management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Willingness to work at the designated location based on domicile, with a standard work schedule Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00.
