Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and tag incoming laundry loads according to client specifications and fabric types.
- Operate industrial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment while monitoring cycle times, water temperature, and chemical usage.
- Perform quality checks on cleaned garments, ensuring stains are removed and items are returned in pristine condition.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including detergents, chemicals, and linen stock, and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and wearing personal protective equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of work schedules, ensuring coverage for peak periods from Monday to Saturday.
- Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance of the laundry facility to uphold a safe and orderly work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating any issues with garment handling or delivery timelines to clients promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as waste reduction, energy‑saving practices, and process optimization.
- Train new team members on equipment operation, safety standards, and company policies as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders, with a particular focus on female candidates who prefer this role.
- Age: Up to 40 years old.
- Prior experience in a commercial laundry setting is preferred; a minimum of 1 year of related work is ideal.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive motions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
