Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Promotor Penjualan Rokok to join our sales team in the Empat Lawang region. This role is pivotal in driving product visibility and expanding market share within retail and convenience store channels. The successful candidate will act as the frontline ambassador of our brand, executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with shop owners, and ensuring daily targets are met with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned retail outlets and convenience stores to promote and sell cigarette products, ensuring proper product placement and stock levels.
  • Implement and adapt effective sales strategies tailored to the local market dynamics and consumer preferences.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, distribute promotional materials, and educate store staff on product features and compliance requirements.
  • Collect daily sales data, perform basic analysis, and submit accurate reports to the regional sales supervisor.
  • Manage cash handling, process daily deposits, and reconcile sales receipts in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a personal motorbike and a valid SIM C, ensuring reliable transportation to cover the designated territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities, gather market intelligence, and provide feedback to help refine marketing tactics.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines related to tobacco sales, including age verification and responsible marketing practices.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, product briefings, and performance reviews to continuously improve sales effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only, aged 33 years or younger (maximum age 35 is acceptable if experience is strong).
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in sales canvassing, field sales, or as a salesman in a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • Own a motorbike with a valid SIM C and a clean driving record.
  • Residency within the specified area of Empat Lawang or willingness to relocate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with store owners.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently under minimal supervision.
  • Basic analytical abilities to interpret sales data and generate daily reports.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to compliance with tobacco‑related regulations.
