Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, establish rapport, and actively listen to understand their needs.
- Guide shoppers to the appropriate product sections, suggest complementary items, and promote current promotions or seasonal offers.
- Maintain a tidy and inviting store layout by organizing shelves, rotating stock, and ensuring price tags are visible and accurate.
- Execute the full sales cycle: scanning items, processing payments (cash, card, digital wallets), issuing receipts, and handling returns or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
- Record all transactions promptly in the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring data integrity for daily reconciliation.
- Assist in receiving deliveries, verify quantities against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Conduct regular stock counts, update inventory records, and alert management to low‑stock situations to prevent out‑of‑stock scenarios.
- Package purchased items carefully, ensuring that fragile goods are protected and that customers receive a pleasant unboxing experience.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to meet sales targets, share best practices, and contribute ideas for improving store performance.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, keeping the checkout area clean and orderly at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, communicative, and able to build trust quickly with customers.
- Physical stamina and agility to stand for long periods, lift merchandise, and move quickly during peak hours.
- Basic numeracy and computer literacy for operating POS systems and handling cash accurately.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
- Willingness to be based in Balikpapan (Ewalk) and commute reliably.
