Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Helper Ekspedisi (SIM B1/B2) to join our dynamic logistics team in Cianjur. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods between our warehouse, distribution centers, and customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations, a valid driving licence (SIM B1/B2), and a proactive attitude that contributes to a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of merchandise from trucks, containers, and pallets while adhering to safety protocols.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including waybills, delivery notes, and customs paperwork.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues, and coordinate basic maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and updating the warehouse management system.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to schedule pick‑ups and deliveries, ensuring timely execution of daily routes.
- Support the warehouse team in organizing storage spaces, labeling, and reorganizing stock to maximize space utilization.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating delivery status, handling inquiries, and resolving minor issues on‑site.
- Follow company SOPs for handling hazardous or fragile items, applying proper packaging and handling techniques.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, contribute ideas for process improvements, and assist in emergency response drills.
- Work flexible shifts from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and be prepared for occasional overtime during peak periods.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a warehouse or logistics environment; prior exposure to expedition or freight handling is a strong advantage.
- Licensing: Valid SIM B1/B2 (or SIM B1 Umum) with a clean driving record.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with drivers, supervisors, and customers.
- Personal Attributes: Highly communicative, initiative‑driven, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting moderate loads (up to 25 kg) and performing repetitive manual tasks safely.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for using warehouse management software and mobile reporting tools.
