The successful candidate will act as the frontline ambassador of Amartha, identifying new borrowers, guiding them through our loan programs, and ensuring the health of existing portfolios. Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach in Sumedang and Tanjungkerta to locate prospective borrowers and invite them to join Amartha’s micro‑loan program.
- Perform on‑site economic assessments of households, helping members understand credit options, repayment schedules, and financial planning.
- Gather and verify documentation, then run feasibility studies in line with Amartha’s underwriting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed survey reports and risk analyses that support loan approval decisions.
- Manage the collection process, including reminder calls, in‑person visits, and coordination with the central collections team to maintain low delinquency rates.
- Provide continuous coaching and financial literacy workshops to borrowers, fostering responsible borrowing habits.
- Maintain accurate field records in the company’s CRM system and submit daily activity logs to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with local community leaders, cooperatives, and NGOs to strengthen Amartha’s network and referral sources.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, share market insights, and suggest improvements to outreach strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years for certain positions).
- Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply; female applicants are given preference.
- Own a reliable motorbike or car to travel daily across the field area.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to build trust quickly with rural households.
- Basic analytical ability to assess creditworthiness and conduct feasibility studies.
- Willingness to work outdoors, often in remote villages, from Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community development, or micro‑finance is a plus.
