Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing merchandise, verifying quantities, condition, and compliance with shipping documents.
- Assist in the labeling process, ensuring each product receives the correct barcode, safety label, and handling instructions according to company standards.
- Maintain clear, legible, and uniformly placed labels to facilitate quick identification and minimize picking errors.
- Organize storage locations by categorizing items and placing them in designated zones, supporting efficient space utilization and retrieval.
- Record inspection results and label updates in simple logs or digital systems, providing traceability for audit purposes.
- Support the warehouse operations team in keeping aisles, pallets, and shelving tidy, contributing to a safe and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors to identify discrepancies, suggest corrective actions, and continuously improve labeling and storage procedures.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist in reconciling physical stock with system records.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a D3/D4 program, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Senior‑level student (minimum semester 7/8) who is finalizing a thesis or capstone project.
- Available for a full‑time internship of three months with no active class schedule during the period.
- Male candidates (as specified by the posting) with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail, capable of performing meticulous inspections and accurate labeling.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, maintaining clear communication.
- Basic proficiency with standard office tools and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift moderate weights, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
