Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Animal Groomer to join our growing team of pet‑care specialists. As a groomer, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every client leaves with a happy pet and a satisfied smile. The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, providing ample opportunity to develop your grooming techniques while working alongside experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of grooming services, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed‑specific haircuts.
- Assess each animal’s coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming styles or additional care such as de‑shedding treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station, adhering to health‑and‑safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their expectations, provide grooming advice, and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to manage appointment flow, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.
- Document each grooming session accurately in the company’s system, noting any health observations or special handling instructions.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, new grooming tools, and emerging techniques through continuous learning and occasional training sessions.
- Demonstrate patience and calmness when handling nervous or anxious animals, employing gentle restraint methods when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender; a passion for dogs and a fearless attitude toward them are essential.
- Prior experience in animal grooming is preferred, though enthusiastic beginners with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent teamwork skills – ability to cooperate with fellow groomers, reception staff, and management.
- High level of honesty, reliability, and discipline in attendance and task completion.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and safely lift pets of various sizes.
- Strong communication skills to interact courteously with clients and provide clear grooming recommendations.
- Basic knowledge of pet health indicators, such as skin conditions, parasites, and signs of stress.
