Introduction

This role is a frontline position that combines community outreach, financial analysis, and customer service to support Amartha’s mission of providing accessible capital to underserved households. Candidates will work directly in the field, building relationships with potential borrowers, guiding them through the loan application process, and ensuring timely repayment while fostering financial literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective borrowers in the Purwakarta and Jatiluhur regions, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan programs and explaining the benefits of joining the platform.
  • Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, gathering data on income streams, expenses, and repayment capacity to determine loan eligibility.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses, adhering strictly to Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide clients through the complete loan application workflow, from document collection and verification to final approval and disbursement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions, field visits, and data collected using Amartha’s mobile reporting tools.
  • Execute regular follow‑up visits to monitor loan utilization, provide financial coaching, and address any challenges faced by borrowers.
  • Manage the collection process, issuing reminders, negotiating repayment plans, and coordinating with the central collections team to minimize delinquency.
  • Collaborate closely with regional supervisors and the product team to share market insights, suggest product enhancements, and contribute to community outreach initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly training sessions and performance reviews to continuously improve field techniques and customer engagement skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age range: 18‑30 years (candidates up to 33 years may be considered based on experience).
  • All genders are welcome; however, female candidates are highly preferred to align with local community dynamics.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for daily travel across the assigned territory.
  • Strong personal integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Resilience and discipline to work independently in the field, often under challenging conditions.
  • Basic analytical ability to assess financial data and make sound recommendations.
  • No prior experience is required; comprehensive onboarding and mentorship will be provided.
