Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Staff Sales Associate for a Professional Camera Store to join our vibrant retail team. Our store specializes in a wide range of imaging equipment, from entry‑level smartphones to advanced DSLR and mirrorless cameras. As a front‑line representative, you will help customers select the right gear, explain technical features, and create lasting relationships that drive repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assess their photography or videography needs to recommend suitable equipment.
- Demonstrate product features for smartphones, DSLR, and mirrorless point‑and‑shoot cameras, highlighting benefits and usage tips.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest camera technology, lenses, accessories, and emerging trends in visual media.
- Process sales transactions accurately, handle returns or exchanges, and ensure proper documentation in the store’s management system.
- Assist with visual merchandising, arranging displays that attract attention and showcase new arrivals.
- Engage actively on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to showcase products, share photography tips, and promote store events.
- Provide after‑sales support, including basic troubleshooting, warranty registration, and follow‑up communication.
- Work collaboratively with inventory and logistics teams to monitor stock levels and place re‑order requests.
- Adhere to the store’s operating schedule, including shift work from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Observe and respect the five daily prayers, ensuring personal religious practices are integrated respectfully within the workday.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, as per the specific staffing policy.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine passion for photography and videography.
- Excellent communication skills, both in‑person and digital, with an active presence on social media.
- Proficiency in handling smartphones, DSLR, and mirrorless point‑plus cameras, including basic troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules, including weekends.
- Commitment to maintaining the five daily prayers in accordance with personal faith.
- Basic knowledge of store management systems and inventory control is a plus.
