Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system to process cash, credit, and digital transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and provide recommendations that encourage additional purchases.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring that promotional materials and signage are up‑to‑date.
- Handle cash drawers, perform end‑of‑day balancing, and report any discrepancies according to company policy.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and the receipt of deliveries to keep the sales floor well‑stocked.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds while adhering to store policies and safeguarding against fraud.
- Collaborate with team members across sales, merchandising, and loss‑prevention departments to achieve daily sales targets.
- Document daily sales reports and communicate key performance metrics to the store manager.
- Identify and resolve customer complaints promptly, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, new POS features, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors accepted).
- Age limit: maximum 27 years.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of relevant retail or customer‑service experience; fresh graduates with internship experience are also welcome.
- Strong administrative skills, including attention to detail and basic numeric proficiency.
- Excellent communication abilities; must be friendly, approachable, and capable of building rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work the scheduled shift of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS software; willingness to learn new systems.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when handling merchandise.
