Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and beverage drinks according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and excellence in taste.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine cleaning and maintenance.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and recommending drinks based on preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular sanitation of counters, equipment, and seating areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- Assist in training new team members on brewing techniques, customer service protocols, and safety procedures.
- Contribute ideas for new drink creations, seasonal promotions, and improvements to workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding shift schedules, attendance, and professional conduct, including availability for weekends, holidays, and special events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience working as a barista in a busy café or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of basic coffee theory, brewing methods, and beverage preparation.
- Age limit: maximum 25 years old.
