Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit potential borrowers to join Amartha’s micro‑loan program, leveraging local networks and market research.
  • Provide ongoing economic mentorship to member households, helping them manage finances, plan budgets, and grow their businesses.
  • Conduct field surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies and risk‑assessment procedures.
  • Execute collection activities, including timely follow‑ups, payment reminders, and resolution of repayment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, field visits, and loan performance using the company’s digital platform.
  • Prepare regular reports for supervisors, highlighting market trends, challenges, and success stories from the field.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders and partner organizations to promote financial literacy and build trust.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age range: 18‑33 years (maximum 33 years).
  • All genders are welcome; preference given to candidates with strong community ties.
  • Possession of a personal vehicle is essential for daily field visits.
  • Excellent integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Analytical mindset for evaluating loan applications and conducting feasibility studies.
  • Resilience and the ability to work independently in remote or challenging environments.
  • Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community outreach is a plus, but not mandatory.
