Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Officer to join our team in Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. This role is dedicated to empowering low‑income women entrepreneurs through hands‑on business guidance, financial literacy training, and access to micro‑financing solutions. Responsibilities
- Visit assigned villages and urban neighborhoods to identify and engage women who are starting or expanding small businesses.
- Provide one‑on‑one mentorship, focusing on business planning, market analysis, and product development.
- Conduct interactive workshops on basic financial management, budgeting, and disciplined savings practices.
- Facilitate group‑based loan disbursements without collateral, ensuring that repayment schedules are clear and manageable.
- Monitor loan performance, follow up on installment payments, and intervene proactively to resolve any repayment challenges.
- Listen attentively to client needs, propose tailored solutions, and coordinate with internal product teams for additional support services.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress reports, and financial transactions using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Collaborate with local NGOs, community leaders, and government agencies to expand outreach and reinforce financial inclusion initiatives.
- Report weekly to the regional manager on outreach metrics, success stories, and areas requiring strategic adjustments.
Requirements
- Female candidates only; gender requirement reflects the target demographic of the program.
- Age between 18 and 33 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for social interaction and community building.
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse cultural settings and respond to changing field conditions.
- Detail‑oriented mindset, capable of maintaining precise documentation and data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
